But although this vast knowledge base provides our clients with a valuable informational resource on a variety of topics and issues in those "non-builder" arenas, it is important for you to remain aware that Castlewood is ONLY your "builder," and NOT a law firm, real estate broker, mortgage banker, appraiser, architectural firm, engineering firm, or surveyor. All of these professions have their own licensure laws and regulatory administrations, which in most cases require such services to be separately performed, pursuant to a separate written contract of engagement, and not provided in combination with any other licensed service. In other words, even though our in-house people may themselves hold licenses in some of these areas, Castlewood is not permitted to provide those services, and those separately licensed individuals are not permitted to provide those services through Castlewood. Accordingly, any services or information provided to any party (whether as an engaged Castlewood client, unengaged business prospect or otherwise), by or through Castlewood (whether through Castlewood's principals, employees or otherwise), are not intended (and therefore shall not be deemed) to have been provided pursuant to any licensee/client relationship for any profession for which a separate license is required. The foregoing shall apply regardless of whether the person providing such information holds an individual license in one or more of these professions.

That said, our people don't "turn off" what they know when providing service to our clients. Quite the contrary, this collective knowledge finds its way into many aspects of our business, which enhances our service across the board; it also provides our clients with convenient access to certain background and other explanations about certain facets of the building process or related issues, that they would otherwise not have available through other builders.
